For 2025, Honda has opted for some minor trim reshuffling and changes in features, with the lineup carried over from the previous year mostly unchanged. Honda has replaced the EX trim level with a new blacked-out SE model that provides a few additional interior niceties alongside blacked-out exterior elements. All models see some changes in features, with standard rear climate control vents and two rear USB-C ports. The hybrid models of the Accord get a new wireless phone charging pad and the Touring trim level now comes standard with a heated steering wheel.The Accord has been an excellent option in the mid-size family sedan class for decades, offering a well-rounded package that is an excellent value option.

The Accord offers a good degree of curb appeal, with sporty elements, but falls short of some more performance focused rivals. The cabin of the Honda Accord offers a less sporty design, but maintains a good degree of appeal. The dashboard of the Accord features a honeycomb design trim that has been increasingly prominent in the Honda lineup and is shared with several other models. The honeycomb trim runs across the dashboard, concealing the air vents and providing a cleaner design. The interior layout sticks to a functional design that is ubiquitous with Honda, delivering an upright but uninspiring dashboard. The interior of the Accord makes use of high-quality materials, especially on the higher trims. The build quality of the Accord is solid and well put together, bolstering the solid material selection. Additionally, the cabin is spacious and accommodating in both rows. The Accord offers a comfortable ride through its plush suspension and leaves enough driver engagement to still be fun to drive.
The driving dynamics of the Accord are well-balanced, delivering a comfortable ride quality without excessively loses in athleticism. The Accord is smooth, quiet, and composed, delivering a solid degree of comfort at the price point. The Accord’s suspension can handle most bumps and road imperfections with ease, with some of the rougher stretches being minimized but notably transmitted into the cabin. Additionally, the Accord maintains confidence-inspiring handling with precise steering responses, well-controlled body motions, and a good degree of refinement. While the Accord isn’t particularly athletic compared to its key rivals, most make far greater sacrifices in comfort. However, the Accord is not offered with any suspension options for better handling, whereas some rivals offer a sport suspension option. While the Accord doesn’t compete in athleticism, it offers more potent hybrid powertrain for quicker acceleration and better fuel economy.
The base engine of the Honda Accord is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that produces 192 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. The base powertrain is paired with a CVT that direct power to the front wheels. Like previous generations of the Accord, the current generation does not offer an all-wheel-drive drivetrain, losing some appeal compared to rivals. While the base powertrain is reasonably powerful, it motivates the sedan from 0-60 mph in 7.3 seconds. Upgrading to the hybrid trims provides a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired with two electric motors to produce a combined 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid four-cylinder is paired with a ECVT that direct power to the front wheels. While the hybrid powertrain isn’t advertised as a performance-focused upgrade, it shaves off nearly a second from the 0-60 mph sprint, delivering a time of 6.5 seconds. The base powertrain offers solid fuel efficiency ratings, earning 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway. However, the hybrid powertrain makes significant improvements, delivering an estimated fuel efficiency ratings of 51 mpg in the city and 48 mpg on the highway.
